I just wanted to say how much I love this app. Ever since my first windows mobile phone this has been exactly the application I've been looking for.

I was just wondering if I could toss in an idea or 2 for the next update.

I like the wheel input for the time my one complaint is that if you have a lot of appointments that start at 15/30/45 mins into the hour it can be a pain to use the wheel. And the new keypad is a bit awkward on my touch pro. I was thinking it would be nice if there could be a 3rd wheel (split the minutes into 10's and 1's) or alternatively an option in the settings to change the minutes from 1 minute increments to 15 minute increments (I doubt many people have appointments that start at 4:48 and such, and if it were an option then it would be a moot point.)

I'm not sure how feasible it would be. But I think it would be cool if you let the program use the accelerometer and had a portrait week view that was vertical (similar to google calendar)

To be honest that's really all I can think of. This app is so unbelievably solid. I have seen very few winmo applications with this kind of solid performance, usefulness and eye candy all rolled into one, it's truly amazing. Thank you for one of the few pieces of software that saves WinMo from being a complete waste (in my day to day life this program ranks up there with HTC's Sense 2.5)

Looks great!

For the new week number selection 1 improvement for the Wheel picker (like the you have done for the time wheel picker):

A 1st wheel for 10er weeks 0..5 and
a 2nd wheel for the single weeks but in that way that if the 1st is selecting week starting 30 than the 2nd one is "jumping" to that 30.

So not 1st wheel 0..5 and 2nd 0..9

2nd 0..52

Hope you understand what I mean ...

Best regards,

dreamteam

When I have some filters on, it looks like the filter symbol loses sharpness. When I set the filter to 'No Filter' it's sharp again.
A very subtle way to say that there are filters on. But when I restart ThumbCal the filter symbol is also sharp again (even if there are filters on or not). So it doesn't work that way.
I think it would be very nice when you can see that it's very clear that there are filters on or not. I.e. the filter symbol is just white: there are no filters active. The filter icon is blue, there are filters active.
That way you can see in a glance that there are filters active or not, so you can't make a mistake when you're planning an appointment and later you see that there's another appointment at the same time, but because of a filter you didn't see that one at the moment you planned the other.

When I add text in the memo field, the text isn't going to the next line. And I think that the letter of the text is too tiny in the memo field.

I think new appointments and new tasks should be having their own settings. For a new appointment I like that it has a due date and a reminder on it. But when I add a new task, most of the time there's no need for a due date and an alarm.
Isn't it possible to have a standard reminder time only for new appointments and not for new tasks?

Not sure about that. My tasks ALWAYS have a due date, but often don't have a start date (which prevents them from appearing in desktop Outlook). And many also have a reminder. Tried the string around the finger trick :? but couldn't remmeber what the string was for.

Of course. Tasks that have to be done today have a reminder and a due date. But not all tasks need a due date with alarm. Like mowing the lawn. Or cleaning the garage. That can be done today, but also tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Or maybe next week. When you're looking daily to all your tasks, there's no need for a due date or reminder for most of the tasks. That's the GTD-spirit (Getting Things Done, David Allen. Search for it with Google and you will find a lot about this).
That's why I would like that you can separatly check those settings. Not combined with appointments, like now. Then you can choose if you want an automatic filled in reminder for appointments and/ or tasks.

I understand. Guess if I have a task that doesn't need reminding (either visually as due or with an audible reminder) I don't bother loading it into Outlook. If my hair or grass is too long I cut it. The multiple views in ThunbCal makes that all work. Agenda shows me what I have to do tomorrow, but Task View lets me see what is in the que so I can attack anytime. Been sorting my tasks by due date since my first Franklin Planner and this old dog isn't ready for any new tricks. But as with most feature requests, as long as I can disable it, I am all for it. Everyone has different needs and I would never try to force my way of thinking on anyone. But I am glad :D that s.l.i. and I apparently think alike. ThumbCal is a damn good program that deserves to be on every WinMo device.
