ThumbCal 1.4.0 final

Hi

GREAT that the development is going on!

Just installed it on my HD2 over my "old" 1.3.5 version. (Using Dutty WWE Multi languange rom 1.5)

As far as I can see everything is working nicely.

It feels faster than 1.3.5. I have no problems with starting it over a Quicklink from Manila-Sense.
Starting is blazing fast!

What I would like is at the bottom a "fifth" button for the Agenda view. Toggling between 2 views is ok, but between 3 views is too much. Holding the button till the menue is poping up is also not perfect. But I realy think there is enough room for an extra button.

The search function looks nice for the moment - will see how much I will use it during daily life.

!! A even more MUST HAVE APP !!

Best regards,

While you are woking on a Wish List, I only have a couple:
- Add date to Task Screen header , so when I am looking at the list I can tell how many days I have until the next task is due, or somehow indicate "how many days" to due date.
-Add a toggle option to show Month/Agenda View (just like Month/Week/Agenda, but without Week)

If you change Tasks to filter by "start date", please make it an option and not default. Start date would not work for me.

Also, I reproduced that same effect as "camel" on my 6.1 device. If I open ThumbCal and then open a Task, I can minimize TC and then go back into TC using Task Manager and I will be right back where I left off. But if after minimizing, I reopen ThumbCal by tapping a Calendar event on the TouchFlo Home screen I go to Agenda View, or if I tap a Soft Key I have mapped to Tasks, I go to Task View, or if I tap the TC .lnk Icon, I go to Month view (my default view). These views will all open without the normal launching TC graphic, as it's already open. I guess that's normal behavior and not an issue for me. But thought you might like some additional input.

Thanks,
JIM

Now it is on the new features list of 1.4 ;)

Excellent. For me it is really important to be able to see a Task start to appear in my Agenda view on its Start Date - ideally with a "countdown" of how may days left until Due.

Hi, I was excited to read that the recurring appointments/tasks had received some revision, but alas - what I'm looking for (and need) is still not included. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's got appointments that follow this pattern: every 1st Sunday of the month. A German radio station has public performances of radio plays on every 1st and last Sunday of the month, except for the summer holiday months. It is impossible to include this in ThumbCal, but it's a breeze with PocketInformant. I wish ThumbCal would include a similar option. Here's how it's done in PI - easy, innit?

Hi,
first i must say - it's great to have update of this great soft! It's best fingerfriendly time scheduler for WM.
The search function is great! The duplicate events bug is fixed. There is one problem - i cant slide beetwen days in day view.

Just tested on my Fuze and at first I didn't think it was working, but it only takes a small flick (less than an inch) towards the center of the screen to move backwards and forward. A long left/right swipe move back well (fom Sunday to Saturday), but a long right/left swipe does not appear to work. Long right/left swipes work fine on Month and Week view, as do short swipes.

tested it now and you are right :) forking fine with small flicks. I have small sugestion - can we have some small icon at agenda/day view at appointsments that are repeated? Of course i can make colored "cycle" category and assign it to repeated events but an icon will be nice. Just like in PocketInformant for example.

I know, this is an important feature and I am already working on it.
