Splitted month view has never been available in this mode. Also not in 1.3.5. But it could be a new feature to show at least the time load per day to get an overview. Maybe in > 1.4.0 ...

ah ok, maybe i was thnking, that i had this feature ...
it is relative simple, it would be enough if on date selecting there will also be the spit-screen like as it is on the normal splt-screen.
easy to realize ?

EDIT: another feature request ...
the time can be changed via: keypad or scrolling.
scrolling is fine, but if i click one time on <down>, then only 1min will be changed...
i think the most users are using the calender appointment in 15min steps. maybe you can think about to make a paramter, where the user can adjust how big the steps should be...
for an appointment on 11:30 i must scroll a long time ...or press 30 times the donw button. this is not very optimal

Hello,

I love the upgrade, thank you so much for all the hard work. I now have 1.4.1 and there is mention in the release notes about the search delay being configured via registry key. I have added that registry key and set the value to 0 and it is not working for me. It still starts to search almost as soon as I start typing, and with onscreen keyboard only (omnia) it is almost impossible to search that way. I would like to get the reg edit working, but am not sure how to proceed. I added the exact key you mentioned, and re-booted, but it has no effect. Can you clarify for me?

Thanks,
Tom

I made a typo. It is HKCU instead of HKLM. Sorry!
So the value to switch auto search off is: HKCU/Software/ThumbApps/ThumbCal/SearchStartDelay -> "-1" (it is a string value, without the quotes)

This is what I figured out also by myself, but is this key

SearchStartDelay

already existing or do I have to create it new?

I was installing from 1.3.5 than upgrading nearly all of the beta 1.4 version than 1.4.0 final and now 1.4.1

But this key is not existing on my device - HD2. (maybe because of the update)

Best regards,

dreamteam

Yes, you have to create it by yourself.
The next version will get a more clean settings screen and then I will also put this option into.

Pefect. Thanks very much. I look forward to seeing that in the options screen somewhere down the road. I'm wondering if it's possible, either when the search starts from pressing the OK button or when it finally ends, to have ThumbCal automagically clear the keyboard off the screen?

Thanks!

I like the new builds very much. Thanks for the good work!
There's one thing that I would like better when it was more visible. When I choose some filters for filtering tasks, also appointments are disappearing when they don't have that category. When I leave ThumbCal and later I want to add a new appointment, I can't see if there's a filter active or not. So there's a big change that I will add an appointment at a time that's already filled with another appointment, that's invisible because of the filter.
Isn't it possible to make it more visible (without looking to the filter view) that there's a filter active? I.e. with a colorized/ changed filter icon in the toolbar?

Hmm - everything is really great (1.41), but the graphic for repeating events is still poor on my MDA vario IV. Any chance to change this ?

I found one major bug in Version 1.4.0. This ist with respect to changing "series events" or "recurring events". When you have a recurring event and you want to change only one appointment, you can change the time within the same date. But you cannot change the date. Example: Every week I have a meeting on Tuesday, 16.00. Now I want to change only one appointment to Wednesday 16.00. This is not possible. I can only change the time of the single appointment of the series on the same date (i.e. Tuesday, 17.00), but not change it to another date.

By the way: where can I download version 1.4.1 ? I could not find it in the thread.
